Turkey has completed the delivery of the first 50 armored vehicles for the Estonian Defense Forces

Turkey has completed the delivery of the first 50 4x4 and 6×6 armored vehicles designed to equip the Estonian Defense Forces, in particular the 2nd Infantry Brigade and the Rescue Department.

ECDI has signed agreements with the Turkish companies Nurol Makina and Otokar for the supply of 230 4x4 and 6×6 armored vehicles to the forces with public investments of about 200 million euros. However, it is worth noting that these agreements are designed for 10 years, which allows additional purchase of machines and spare parts. 4x4 NMS machines are supplied by Nurol Makina, and 6×6 ARMA machines are supplied by Otokar. As planned, the first units were delivered at the end of 2024, and the brigade's personnel are already undergoing training, and it is planned to use them in the Siil exercises in May.
