RWS has introduced Urban Drone Defense machine Gun cartridges to combat drones in cities

The German company RWS has introduced specialized machine gun cartridges Urban Drone Defense (UDD), designed to combat drones.

At the Enforce Tac 2025 defense exhibition, two types of 7.62×51 mm machine gun cartridges with plastic bullets were presented for the first time.

According to the manufacturer, these cartridges are particularly suitable for use in densely populated areas due to their low collateral damage.Plastic bullets have low kinetic energy and limited penetrating power.
