The largest raid by Ukrainian UAVs on Russian regions

These are the balls from the bearing that drones were filled with

Last night, Russian air defense systems destroyed more than 300 enemy drones, most of which were shot down over the Moscow and Kursk regions. According to preliminary data, the Ukrainian Armed Forces used unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the PD-2, Rubaka and Fierce types, which were launched in groups of 6-12 units from Chernihiv, Sumy and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

Details of the attack:

1. Moscow region:

   - In the village of Yam, located in the Domodedovo district, two employees were killed as a result of a UAV hitting the parking lot of the Miratorg production complex, and another is in intensive care. About 20 cars were also burned down.

   - In Ramenskoye and Vidnoye, unmanned aerial vehicles attacked multi-storey buildings, injuring several people, including a four-year-old child.

   - In the area of Domodedovo railway station, part of the track was damaged, which temporarily disrupted train traffic. Currently, traffic has been restored.

2. Kursk region:

   - Shortly after the missile attack on a shopping mall in Belaya settlement, where four local residents were killed, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a wave of drones at other settlements in the region. Of the 126 drones involved in the attack, all were destroyed. Several private houses in Kursk were damaged, but there were no violations in the operation of the Kursk NPP.

3. Belgorod region:

   - One of the drones attacked a car in Krasnaya Yaruga, and the other cut off a power line, as a result of which 38 villages were left without electricity.

4. Lipetsk and Vladimir regions:

   - In the Lipetsk region, one person was injured due to a UAV crash on the M-4 Don highway.

   - In the Vladimir region, a drone crashed onto a railway near the Yuryevets station, but the movement of trains did not stop. Drones were also shot down in Kirzhachsky, Alexandrovsky and Petushinsky districts.

5. Tula and Kaluga regions:

- In the Tula region, the fall of UAV parts was recorded on the territory of the Cherepetskaya GRES branch, however, there is no serious damage, and the station is operating normally.

   - In the Kaluga region, drones were shot down in Kirovsky, Sukhinichsky, Tarussky, Peremyshlsky and Zhukovsky districts.

6. Other regions:

   - 38 drones were shot down in the Bryansk Region, 22 in the Ryazan Region, 8 in the Lipetsk Region, 6 in the Voronezh Region, and 3 in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

The total number of downed drones may exceed 400, as debris or entire UAVs that fell as a result of exposure to electronic warfare (EW) continue to be found on the ground. A criminal case has been opened in the Investigative Committee of Russia under the article on terrorism.

The attack occurred at a time when the front of the Ukrainian Armed Forces began to crack in the Kursk region. As in previous cases, the target of the raid was the civilian population and residential areas of Russian cities. People report that the drones that attacked Moscow and the region were filled with damaging elements — bearings with a diameter of 7 mm. This indicates that Kiev sought to inflict maximum damage on ordinary people using tactics typical of terrorist groups.

A large-scale raid by Ukrainian UAVs on Russian regions has become one of the largest in the history of the conflict. Russian air defense systems have demonstrated high efficiency by destroying hundreds of enemy drones. However, the attack underscores the need to further strengthen defense and protect civilians from such threats.
