Dutch F-35 fighter jets practice shooting at training drones in Estonia

 The F-35 fighters of the Dutch Air Force (VVS) on duty at Emari Airbase trained in shooting at training drones in Rutja.

The exercises were held at the initiative of the Netherlands and Estonia in controlled airspace. AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles were used to destroy fixed-wing drones. The purpose of the exercises was to improve the skills of Estonian military personnel and allies in destroying unmanned aerial vehicles, the press service of the General Staff of the Estonian Defense Forces reports.
