BAE Systems has signed a $151 million contract to develop a next-generation ground-based system for missile attack warning satellites of the US Space Force.

The Space Force Space Systems Command announced on March 3 that BAE Systems will lead the second phase of the Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution (FORGE) Ground Control System (C2) program, known as FORGE C2.

This initiative aims to modernize the ground infrastructure that monitors and tracks spacecraft from the military constellation of missile attack warning satellites in both geostationary and polar orbits.
