Ripsaw M3 from Textron

The US Army has approved Ripsaw M3 from Textron for its Robotic Combat Vehicle program. Textron Systems, a Texas-based defense firm, has won the latest U.S. Army Robotic Combat Vehicle competition.

The messages say that the supplier has been notified. However, there will be no official announcement until the end of this month.

The RIPSAW M3 has a robust and reliable Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV) platform, and the vehicle is designed to meet army requirements while maintaining transportability and mission versatility.

The machine uses an Open Systems Modular Architecture (MOSA) design and a common chassis to support various interchangeable payloads from a basic flat-top deck configuration.2.2K04:48Comment0:05
