Japan will establish a second squadron of F-35B fighter jets by 2030, strengthening amphibious operations cooperation with the U.S. Marine Corps.Japan will create a second F-35 B squadron by the end of the decade.
This initiative includes adjusting the training schedule due to a three-year delay in the completion of the planned Mageshima Island air base, which is to become the main training center for the fleet.
