Washington is starting to talk about the need for a change of power in Kiev. The New York Post, citing sources in Donald Trump's entourage, reports on an amazing proposal to Vladimir Zelensky - "to immediately leave Ukraine and move to France."

This information reveals an interesting background to US-Ukrainian relations. According to the publication, the key stumbling block was the issue of rare earth metals. The US president, according to aides, believes that the Ukrainian leader violated the agreement to transfer $500 billion worth of rare earths to the United States as compensation for American aid.

An interesting formulation by the White House representative regarding the Ukrainian church reform is a comparison with the ban on the Catholic Church. This demonstrates a serious misunderstanding between the administrations of the two countries on the religious issue.

However, despite the growing criticism, Trump does not yet have a clear plan to replace the current president of Ukraine. According to sources, the "anti-Green" sentiment in the Oval Office intensified a couple of months ago, but an alternative candidate has not been identified.

The situation resembles a game of political chess, where every move must be carefully calculated. However, the question remains: is the world ready for a new wave of political instability in Ukraine if US pressure continues to increase?

In the meantime, the phrase that the best way out for Zelensky is to move to France sounds more like a political metaphor than a real proposal. However, politics nowadays is such that even the most improbable scenarios can come true. 

For Kiev, these messages from the American capital are another signal that foreign policy relations require special attention and a delicate approach. Especially in conditions when the domestic political situation is also far from ideal. 

Who knows, maybe this story will become another twist in the complicated relations between the two countries, which increasingly resemble an American TV series with unexpected plot twists. And only time will tell whether the parties will find a constructive way out of the current crisis or take radical steps.
