Ireland is considering the possibility of acquiring French armored vehicles from the Scorpion program, including Griffon, Jaguar and Serval, following the example of the Belgian CaMo program.
This was stated by Alexandre Dupuis, Director of System Activities at KNDS France, during a hearing at the Defense Commission of the National Assembly of France on February 12, 2025. While discussions regarding the acquisition are ongoing, the exact terms of the potential agreement remain uncertain.
