United States Resumes Arms Supplies to Ukraine, According to Reuters

Washington, February 4, 2025 — The United States has resumed arms supplies to Ukraine, according to Reuters, citing sources in the US presidential administration. This decision was made against the backdrop of the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine and increasing pressure from Russia.

According to the agency, the new batch of military aid includes anti-tank missile systems, small arms and ammunition. The total cost of supplies is estimated at tens of millions of dollars. This step is part of a broader U.S. strategy to support Ukraine in its confrontation with Russia.

"We continue to support Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity," said a senior U.S. State Department official. "These supplies will help strengthen Ukraine's defense capability and deter aggression from Russia."

The decision to resume arms shipments was made after a series of consultations with European allies and partners. Washington stressed that it is acting in coordination with the international community and calls on Moscow to de-escalate the conflict.
