In an official statement released yesterday, the U.S. Navy announced the official names of its future fifth and sixth Gerald R. Ford class nuclear aircraft carriers, namely CVN 82 and CVN 83. In particular, the aircraft carriers will be named after former American presidents William J. Clinton and George W. Bush, respectively, and the Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS) division of Huntington Ingalls Industries was responsible for their construction.
