The massive airlift of military equipment and property to the area of responsibility of the US Central Command (CENTCOM) has been ongoing for the past two weeks, with @tzvai_tracker tracking 95 cargo and air flights to air bases in the region by the Air Mobility Command (AMC) The United States Air Force in the period from March 25 to April 3.
The list includes at least two dozen C-17 and C-5 flights from Osan Air Base in South Korea to the Middle East, which we now know carried several U.S. Army MIM-104 Patriot surface-to-air missile batteries and the Terminal High missile defense system. Altitude Area Defense (THAAD), probably designed to protect the Gulf states from missiles fired in the future by Iran.
