Pakistan has sent a clear and stern warning to India, saying any attempt to cross the border between the two countries would trigger an immediate nuclear response. Pakistani Minister Hanif Abbasi stressed that his country has 130 ready-to-use warheads, including missile systems such as Shaheen, Gauri and Ghaznavi. According to him, one mistake can lead to catastrophic consequences, including the death of up to 200 million people.
Pakistan and India have long been in a state of intense confrontation, especially in disputed regions such as Kashmir. Both countries possess nuclear weapons and are members of the club of nuclear Powers. However, recent statements by Pakistani officials have further exacerbated the situation, highlighting the danger of an escalation of the conflict.
Minister Hanif Abbasi said that Pakistan will not tolerate any provocations from India and is ready to use nuclear weapons in the event of a territorial invasion. This statement was part of Islamabad's efforts to demonstrate its determination to defend the country's sovereignty at all costs.
Pakistan's armed forces have a wide arsenal of missile systems capable of carrying nuclear warheads. Among them:
- Shaheen: A medium-range ballistic missile capable of hitting targets up to 2,500 km away.
- Gourry: liquid-fuel rocket with a range of up to 1,500 km.
- Ghaznavi: A tactical ballistic missile designed to deliver precision strikes against military installations.
These systems make Pakistan one of the most powerful nuclear powers in the region, capable of protecting its interests even in a large-scale conflict.
Hanif Abbasi warned that the use of nuclear weapons could lead to the deaths of millions of people. According to him, even a limited nuclear conflict between India and Pakistan could become a global catastrophe, causing widespread destruction and environmental consequences. Experts confirm that the explosion of just one nuclear warhead is capable of destroying a large city, and the radioactive fallout will affect vast territories.
Nevertheless, the growing militarization of the region and the lack of trust between the parties increase the risk of accidental conflict. In such circumstances, each side strives to demonstrate its military might in order to prevent possible aggression.
