The Royal Air Force is sending fighter jets to Poland to patrol NATO airspace

 The Royal Air Force of Great Britain has sent fighter jets to Poland as part of an enhanced NATO airspace patrol mission together with the new member of the alliance, Sweden.

Britain's Ministry of Defense said on Tuesday that six Typhoon fighter jets had arrived in eastern Poland to participate in an enhanced airspace patrol mission. The planes took off from the British Lossiemouth base in northern Scotland.
