A giant American C-5 transport aircraft delivers high-tech defense equipment to Israel.
On April 5, 2025, a U.S. Air Force C-5M Super Galaxy aircraft, one of the largest military transport aircraft in the world, landed at Nevatim Air Base in southern Israel.
The landing took place near the site where the US Army's high-altitude missile defense system, known as THAAD, is deployed in the Negev Desert.
After taking off from Ramstein Air Base in Germany, the plane returned to its starting point after completing the mission.This is a huge aircraft capable of carrying heavy military equipment., It probably delivered critical supplies related to THAAD or other air defense systems, possibly to replenish missiles expended during recent interceptions of ballistic threats from Yemeni Houthi rebels targeting Israel.
