According to the Polish special services, a
group of saboteurs sent parcels to the
EU and the UK with substances that self-ignited
during transportation.
Four people were arrested in Poland, who, according to
the investigation, were involved in the activities of an "inter-
national subversive and explosive group. " Two more sus-
pects have been put on the international wanted
list.
It is indicated that the sabotage group was engaged in send-
ing parcels with explosives and dangerous substances
through courier companies to the countries of the European
Union and the United Kingdom, which self-ignited or det-
onated during ground and air transportation.
"In addition, the purpose of the group was to
verify the transmission channel of this kind of
cargo, which eventually went to the United
States of America and Canada, " the statement said.
