ASELSAN has introduced the ZMAX unmanned armored combat vehicle

 

The leading Turkish defense company ASELSAN

presented the unmanned armored combat vehicle

ZMAX at the TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and

Technology Festival, which was held in Adana

October 2 to 6.

The ZMA-Xis an ACV or ZMA version developed by FNSS

in the 1990s based on the M113 armored personnel car-

rier, which Aselsan converted into an unmanned plat-

form. According to Aselsan, this machine, equipped

with advanced technology, stands out because it can move

autonomously, avoiding obstacles on certain routes.

Thanks to its advanced sensors, it also includes

road recognition and human and vehicle detection capa-

bilities.
