The digging of a new trench in the israeli-occupied
Golan Heights comes at a time when the IDF is preparing
to repel potential threats from its war-torn neighbor.
According to satellite images, the israeli military has
dug a trench at least 7 km long since
mid-August, tracing the border be-
tween the israeli-occupied Golan
Heights and the southern part of Syria.
Iranian-backed militias, including Hezbollah,
are present in southern Syria, creating another
potential front while israel is fighting in the Gaza
Strip and Lebanon.
