 Geologists have discovered a shift in Yellowstone's volcanic activity. The next devastating eruption may not occur where it was before. Scientists from the US Geological Survey and colleagues from the University of Oregon and the University of Wisconsin-Madison have discovered evidence of rhyolitic volcanism in the Yellowstone Caldera, shifting to the northeast.
