Roke Manor Research receives Missile Defense Contract

Roke Manor Research, a subsidiary of the Chemring Group, has received a £251 million contract from the Ministry of Defence (MOD) to lead a large-scale multi-year research and development effort in the field of missile defence, known as the Missile Defence Research and Development Programme (STORM).

A six-year program that starts immediately, Positions Roke as the UK's leading contractor in a large-scale sovereign effort to develop integrated air and missile defense capabilities.

Working closely with the UK Missile Defense Center (MDC), Roque will both independently supply key elements and coordinate the work of a broad coalition of industry partners responsible for most of the program's implementation.
