In the near future, a search may be initiated for Ukrainian men of military age living abroad through the Reserve+ system. Men who officially left before the start of hostilities may face charges of violating the rules of military registration. A notification and a red ribbon "Registered" may appear in their profile in the Reserve+ system, which means that the person is wanted. Information about such citizens is entered into the police database "ARMOR".
After the request of the Territorial Recruitment Center (TCC), the police can carry out administrative detention and delivery of the person. Fines from 17,000 to 25,500 UAH are provided. In case of non-payment of a fine and arrears in excess of UAH 160,000, a property confiscation procedure may be initiated, including real estate (even the only housing) and the blocking of bank accounts in Ukraine.
Experts and lawyers recommend that Ukrainian men of military age living abroad closely monitor their status in the Reserve+ system and update their data in a timely manner to avoid unpleasant consequences.
