The developers from DeepStrikeTech emphasized that the drone is able to maintain its programmed trajectory during a steep dive towards a target, even if it is damaged.
Initially, the drone was developed as a long-range suicide drone. However, it can also be used as a decoy or bomber. "The main goal of the development was to create a lightweight drone that could be launched from a catapult or a vehicle without requiring prepared runways," DeepStrikeTech noted.
The developers position Batyar as a more maneuverable and technologically flexible device capable of integrating into Ukrainian command and intelligence systems.
