Roke introduced the portable electronic warfare device EM-Vis Deceive |
The British technology company Roke has launched a new electronic warfare system, EM-Vis Deceive. It is a compact device weighing less than 10 kg, which can be carried by soldiers and used to suppress enemy signals and disrupt drones in the field.
Main Features:
Modular open architecture that allows you to quickly adapt the system to changing combat missions.
Compatibility with existing and future electronic warfare systems and command systems.
Easy to use — requires minimal staff training.
Resistance to extreme conditions: The operating temperature range is from -32°C to +55°C.
Power supply: built-in 36V battery and two 150W power supplies.
The bandwidth is 100 MHz, which makes it possible to combat a wide range of threats — from UAVs to radio communications.
A turning point in electronic warfare
Roke CEO Paul McGregor called EM-Vis Deceive a "watershed" in electronic warfare, stressing that traditional systems are too bulky, expensive and slow to adapt to new threats. In contrast, EM-Vis Deceive can be updated programmatically and quickly adapted to new frequencies, which is especially important when new models of enemy drones appear.
The device marks a new era of tactical electronic warfare, where mobility, flexibility, and speed of updates are critical.
