The US Army conducted exercises with FPV drones in Germany

The US Army conducted the first live-fire exercises using first-person view drones (FPV) carrying ammunition, marking an important milestone in the development of the army's unmanned systems.

During the test flights that took place at the Grafenwer training ground in Bavaria, Germany, soldiers successfully launched armed FPV drones to hit targets under controlled conditions.

The event, dubbed Project Shiv, is part of a larger effort by the U.S. Army to modernize combat tactics using low-cost, adaptable unmanned platforms in accordance with the current global trends in warfare.
