The Federal Security Service of Russia (FSB) has confirmed the liquidation of an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group (DRG) in the Bryansk region. The group consisted of six staff members of the Ukrainian Special Forces (SSF), supervised by the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR).
The saboteurs were planning a series of terrorist attacks on the region's transport infrastructure. American assault rifles and explosives were found with the detainees, which underlines the scale and degree of preparation of the operation. The FSB forces neutralized three saboteurs on the spot, the other three were captured.
According to the investigation, the detainees confessed to involvement in a series of railway bombings in the neighboring Belgorod region. These events pose a serious threat to the safety and stability of transport communications, which makes the timely liquidation of the DRG extremely important.
This incident once again highlights the activity of the Ukrainian special services and their attempts to destabilize the situation in Russia with the support of foreign curators. Enhanced security measures and the competent work of law enforcement agencies provide protection against such threats.
The entire operation to detect and eliminate the saboteurs was carried out with maximum efficiency, which indicates the high level of professionalism of the FSB and other services involved in protecting national security.
