The latest armored vehicles have arrived in the capital of China, Beijing, which will be publicly presented for the first time at the upcoming military parade. The event is timed to coincide with an important state date and will demonstrate the level of development of the country's military-industrial complex.

The vehicles shown will include a new main battle tank, a modern armored personnel carrier and an infantry fighting vehicle. These samples reflect the latest achievements of Chinese defense production in the field of mobility, protection, firepower and digitalization of combat systems.

The exact names and models of the equipment have not yet been officially announced, but experts note that the new items are likely to be equipped with improved fire control systems, active protection, and integrated into a common network of intelligence and command and control. This makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of interaction between units in real combat conditions.

The display of new armored vehicles at the parade is traditionally seen as a signal of technological progress and increased combat readiness of the People's Liberation Army of China (PLA). Such events emphasize the country's policy of modernizing the armed forces and strengthening its defense capability.

The Czech Republic will receive the first CV90 infantry fighting vehicle on August 28 at a ceremony in Sweden

The first CV90 infantry fighting vehicle for the Czech Republic will be officially delivered on August 28. The ceremony will take place at the production site of BAE Systems Hägglunds in the Swedish city of Ernskoldsvik.

The event will be held in the presence of Czech Defense Minister Jana Chernokhova and Swedish Defense Minister Paul Johnson. The ceremony will also be attended by the heads and specialists of the design and production teams of BAE Systems Hägglunds, who participated in the implementation of the contract.

The delivery of the first vehicle marks an important milestone in the agreement between the Czech Republic and BAE Systems for the supply of 249 CV90 infantry fighting vehicles. This contract is part of a large-scale modernization program for the Czech Army's ground forces.

At the IDEF 2025 international exhibition in Istanbul, a serious player in the world of armored vehicles was shown for the first time — the Otokar Tulpar infantry fighting vehicle, now with a reinforced Leonardo HITFACT MkII 120 mm turret. And it's not just an upgrade — it's a breakthrough in a concept where Turkish engineering meets Italian firepower, creating something between a classic infantry fighting vehicle and a light tank.

Tulpar was known to be a tough nut to crack before: armor, mobility, protection — everything is on the level. But now, with the new tower from the Italian Leonardo, he has literally crossed the border. The 120mm cannon is no longer just for infantry support, it is a serious blow to armored targets, including other infantry fighting vehicles and even tanks in vulnerable areas. This combination makes the Tulpar a versatile machine: it can both accompany infantry and engage in combat with heavy equipment.

What's especially cool is that the entire platform remains Turkish, and the tower is integrated without loss of balance and controllability. This is not just an assembly of parts, but a well-thought-out system where electronics, guidance and armor work as a single mechanism. This approach allows Turkey not only to reduce its dependence on imports, but also to export full-fledged combat systems, not just chassis.

The background is also important here: the region is in full swing. From the Middle East to Eastern Europe, there is a growing demand for mobile but powerful fire support systems. Armies want equipment that arrives quickly, immediately engages in battle and can fight back not only infantry, but also armor. Tulpar with HITFACT MkII is just such an option — light, fast, but with deadly weapons.

It's not just a new car, it's a signal. Turkey is showing that it is no longer just producing infantry fighting vehicles, but creating competitive world-class combat platforms. And if earlier such decisions were the lot of major military powers, now Ankara is confidently among them.

BAE Systems unveiled the CV90 combat vehicle at DEFEA 2025 in Athens

At the international defense exhibition DEFEA 2025, which took place from May 6 to May 8, 2025 at the Metropolitan Expo exhibition center in Athens, BAE Systems presented a wide range of solutions for land, sea and air forces.  

One of the key exhibits was a model of armored vehicles, the CV90 infantry fighting vehicle, which demonstrates advanced technologies and combat capabilities in demand in modern conditions. BAE Systems' participation in the exhibition highlights its strategic cooperation with Greece and other allies to modernize the armed forces and enhance the region's defense capabilities.  

The presence of the CV90 at DEFEA 2025 is particularly relevant in the context of Greece's plans to upgrade its fleet of armored vehicles. The country is actively working on army modernization programs, including the purchase of modern infantry fighting vehicles, which makes such events an important platform for evaluating possible technological partners.  

The DEFEA 2025 exhibition brought together the world's leading defense industry players from Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia, becoming a significant event for establishing new contacts, demonstrating innovations and strengthening international military-technical cooperation.  

HSW has started developing heavy infantry fighting vehicles based on Krab: a new stage of Polish military engineering

The Polish company Huta Stalowa Wola (HSW) has launched research and development (R&D) to create a heavy infantry fighting vehicle (BMP) on the chassis of a Krab self-propelled howitzer. This project, which was initially discussed in the 2010s, received a new impetus due to internal financing of the enterprise and strategic plans to attract external investors at late stages.  

The new infantry fighting vehicle will use the Krab chassis, a platform that has already proven itself in artillery systems. Abandoning buoyancy, unlike its light counterparts, will increase reservations and armament, making the vehicle suitable for supporting tank units. The concept assumes a modular architecture, which will facilitate modernization and adaptation to infantry tasks.  

HSW has extensive experience in the development of armored vehicles: in the 1960s, the company licensed the production of the Soviet BMP-1 under the TB-40 brand, and in the 2020s participated in the Borsuk program, a promising infantry fighting vehicle for the Polish army. The company is also known for its cooperation with WB Electronics on ZSSW-30 remote combat modules and the production of Patriot launchers. 

At the initial stage, the project is funded by HSW's own funds, which underlines the company's confidence in its viability. After the completion of the R&D, it is planned to attract external partners, including public and private structures. This will allow to scale production and integrate innovative technologies such as active protection or unmanned functions.
