Satellite images reveal new Chinese weapon ahead of military parade: focus on anti-ship missiles

Satellite image with missile containers before the parade

The parade as a demonstration of technological superiority

Ahead of a major military parade in Beijing, satellite imagery has provided the first visual evidence of the deployment of a new generation of Chinese weapons. Notable systems include several types of anti—ship missiles, including modifications with improved performance. Their demonstration at the parade will not only be a show of inner strength, but also a clear signal to external strategic players.

China continues to use the parades as a platform for the presentation of advanced military technologies, demonstrating progress in the modernization of the PLA Armed Forces.

New anti-ship missiles: range and power

The images indicate the presence of missiles similar to the upgraded versions of the DF-21D and DF-26B, the so—called "aircraft carrier killers." These systems have supersonic or hypersonic speeds, maneuverable warheads, and the ability to hit moving targets at sea.

It is reported that the range of some of them reaches 4,000-5,000 km, which allows them to cover key areas in the Pacific Ocean, including possible positions of US Navy strike groups. The emergence of new variants with improved stealth and guidance systems indicates constant modernization.

The goal is to deter the US Navy in the Pacific Ocean

Analysts note that the characteristics of the new missiles indicate their focus on countering American aircraft carriers and other large ships. This fits into China's overall strategy to create "access restriction and breakout prevention" (A2AD) zones in the South China and East China Seas.

The deployment of such systems enhances Beijing's ability to control sea routes and reduce the operational freedom of the US Navy in the region.

A signal to strategic rivals

The display of new missiles at the parade is not just a demonstration of military power, but an element of strategic communication. He stresses China's willingness to defend its interests and its ability to counter the most advanced military platforms.

Such actions increase tensions in the region, but at the same time encourage a review of tactics and technologies on the part of the United States and its allies.

"Cities on reefs": Satellites caught China building military bases in the South China Sea

New satellite images have revealed the alarming scale of China's military expansion in the disputed waters of the South China Sea. The photos provided by the Asian Initiative for Transparency at Sea (AMTI) show that China is not just consolidating its position — it is literally creating a whole network of artificial military cities on the reefs.

The Mischief Reef attracts special attention. There, Chinese engineers have built a real airfield with an extensive runway capable of receiving even heavy strategic bombers. Nearby there are huge hangars for airplanes and missile shelters, protected from impacts. The entire infrastructure looks like a well—planned city, but with one goal - the projection of military force.

This is not a single object. China is building similar bases on several reefs, and the total area of these artificial island bases reaches a staggering 3,200 hectares. This scale allows Beijing not only to control key sea routes, but also to deploy aircraft on these platforms, including potentially nuclear bombers, which radically changes the strategic balance in the region.

These images are eloquent evidence of how China uses engineering capabilities to turn disputed territories into powerful military hubs, causing concern among neighbors and the United States.

China is building an "underground city" for the army: satellites have captured a giant military bunker near Beijing

Satellite images have revealed a massive secret: China is actively building a giant underground military command center, and its size is truly staggering. The facility, estimated to cover 1,000 acres (about 4 square kilometers), is described as the largest such facility in the world since World War II. This "underground city" is located near Beijing and, apparently, is designed to withstand almost anything from a nuclear strike to prolonged isolation.

It's not just about a bunker, but about a whole complex capable of accommodating thousands of people and operating autonomously for a long time. Its creation is a clear signal that China is serious about ensuring its strategic stability and readiness for any, even the worst-case scenarios. This step forces the leading world powers to urgently review their security plans. In the context of growing geopolitical tensions in Asia, especially around Taiwan and the South China Sea, such a large-scale project speaks for itself: China is strengthening its position as a military and strategic giant.

The American Jenkins base in Saudi Arabia is expanding to counter Iran

The military facility near the Red Sea was practically inactive for several years, until a recent surge in activity turned it into a supply center.

At a distance of about 20 miles from the coast of the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia, the faint outlines of a new American base appeared. The base first appeared on satellite images in early 2022. Its nascent existence hinted at what military planners had long foreseen: a protracted military conflict with Iran was quite possible. If that day ever comes, the U.S. Army will rely on more than just military aircraft and warships. They will need a new way to transport and store supplies that will be further away from Iran than most American bases, and therefore less vulnerable to attacks.

Although the base near the Red Sea, called the Jenkins Logistics support Area, did not attract much public attention, the images obtained, according to satellite imagery analysis, indicate that it is likely to become a major logistics hub.

Until last year, Jenkins LSA seemed to be mostly idle. But since then, the facility has been expanding rapidly.Among the improvements are expanded ammunition storage and troop accommodation facilities, as well as improved base security.

This may prove decisive if the United States and Iran or its proxies enter into a new military confrontation. It is unclear whether the base played any role in Saturday's one-time strike mission against Iran.

The United States has numerous military installations in the Middle East that need access to supplies, from small outposts in Syria and Iraq to extensive bases housing aircraft and warships.

New satellite images show the destruction of an Iranian drone factory during the Israeli campaign

Chinese commercial satellite company MizarVision has released new images showing the complete destruction of a suspected Iranian drone factory. The facility was located in a warehouse near Mehrabad Airport in western Tehran. The exact date of the strike is unknown, but photos confirm the scale of the destruction caused by Israel's two-week air campaign against Iran.

Since mid-June 2025, Israel has conducted active airstrikes against a number of facilities in Iran aimed at neutralizing the military infrastructure associated with the production of drones and missile systems. In response, the Iranian air defense forces destroyed more than 130 Israeli drones, as well as launched missile strikes on Israeli territory.

The destruction of a warehouse near Mehrabad Airport, where drones were allegedly manufactured or stored, significantly weakens Iran's ability to conduct unmanned operations and launch strikes against Israel and its allies. It also confirmed the high accuracy and effectiveness of the Israeli airstrikes.

Satellite images have revealed the movement of a damaged North Korean warship to a dry dock near the border with Russia

Satellite images taken on Sunday by Maxar Technologies showed that the 5,000-ton North Korean destroyer, which does not yet have an official name, was moved to a dry dock in the port of Rajin. This port is located in the Rason Special Economic Zone in northeastern North Korea, near its small border with Russia.

Moving the ship to a dry dock indicates that repair or restoration work has been carried out after damage has been sustained. Rajin is an important maritime hub and strategic port, which allows North Korea to maintain its naval forces in the region.

This destroyer belongs to the large warships of the DPRK Navy and plays a key role in ensuring maritime security and control over adjacent waters. Its repair near the Russian border may be of strategic importance, given the geopolitical situation in the region.

Details about the nature of the damage and the reasons for the ship's movement have not yet been disclosed, but monitoring North Korea's actions in the area remains important for assessing the country's military potential.

Partially submerged North Korean frigate rediscovered in satellite image

Recently released satellite images have again recorded the appearance of a partially submerged North Korean frigate. The vessel, which was previously in an inclined position, is now apparently stabilized and standing vertically on the water. However, the exact extent of the damage to the frigate remains unknown.

Specialists continue to study the images in order to assess the condition of the ship and determine possible methods of moving it for repairs. The question of how North Korea plans to transport the damaged frigate to the repair docks remains unanswered.

The appearance of the vessel in a more stable position may indicate emergency repair work or attempts to prevent further damage. However, given the limited information, it remains unclear how severe the damage is and how quickly the frigate will be able to return to service.

New satellite images show unusual objects near North Korea's damaged warship

Recent satellite images have revealed that North Korea has placed several objects resembling balloons next to the damaged 5,000-ton warship. The ship is lying on its side and partially submerged after a failed launch last week.

Although the exact purpose of these aerial objects remains unknown, experts suggest that they can be used for several purposes. Firstly, such balls can help bring the ship back to an upright position, providing additional buoyancy and support. Secondly, they can serve as a means of disguise, protecting the damaged ship from surveillance by drones and satellites, thereby hiding the extent of the damage.

This incident highlights the difficulties faced by North Korea in maintaining its navy, and also demonstrates the unconventional methods used to solve emerging problems.

Further observation and analysis of satellite data will help to better understand the situation and assess the condition of the North Korean warship.

China is building the world's largest military center: global implications

Satellite images taken in recent months show China's massive construction of the world's largest underground military command center near Beijing. This megaproject covers an area of over 1,000 acres and is of great concern to the global community. Experts are carefully studying the consequences of this unprecedented event for international security and geopolitical stability.

The new military center, which is being built on the outskirts of the Chinese capital, represents an ambitious step in the development of the country's defense infrastructure. According to satellite data, the facility includes underground structures designed to manage military operations, store strategic resources, and deploy command posts.

This construction differs not only in its size, but also in the level of technological equipment. It is assumed that the center will be able to function autonomously even in conditions of large-scale conflict, providing protection from external threats, including nuclear strikes.

The purpose of creating this center is to strengthen China's strategic potential and increase its readiness for confrontation with other powers. Underground structures can be used to coordinate the actions of the armed forces, protect critical information and ensure the continuity of government in emergency situations.

This project is also aimed at demonstrating China's strength and technological superiority on the world stage. Amid growing tensions with the United States and its allies, Beijing is keen to stress its ability to defend its interests by any means necessary.

Iran is building the largest catamaran missile ship: a new step in the development of maritime capabilities

Satellite images confirm that Iran has begun construction of the largest missile warship to date. The vessel is being built at the facilities of the Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in the port of Bandar Baonar in the south of the country. This project marks a significant expansion of the IRGC's maritime capabilities and demonstrates Tehran's desire to strengthen its position in the region.

The new catamaran-type ship surpasses the existing Shahid Soleimani-class corvettes in size and firepower. Although the official details of its mission have not yet been disclosed, an analysis of the vessel's design suggests that it will have an increased payload, extended range and enhanced armament. These characteristics make the ship an ideal tool for carrying out tasks in the Persian Gulf and beyond.

The construction of such a vessel is part of Iran's strategy to modernize its fleet and counter external threats. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has traditionally played a key role in ensuring the safety of Iran's maritime routes and protecting its national interests. The new ship is likely to be used for patrol, reconnaissance, and operations against surface and aerial targets.

Special attention is drawn to the unique design of the catamaran, which provides increased stability and the ability to accommodate more weapons. This includes missile systems, artillery, and possibly unmanned vehicles. This configuration makes the ship a universal means of performing both defensive and offensive tasks.

The project also highlights Iran's efforts to diversify its military technology. Despite international sanctions, the country continues to develop its own defense industry, relying on domestic resources and innovation. The new ship will become a symbol of these achievements and may affect the balance of power in the region.

The appearance of such a vessel may cause concern among neighboring countries and world powers, especially against the background of growing tensions in the Persian Gulf.

Secrets of Israel on Google Maps: how the most classified objects ended up in the public domain

High-resolution satellite images of Israel's most secret sites, including the Dimona nuclear center, IDF military bases and operational areas in the Gaza Strip, are now available for viewing on platforms such as Google Maps. These images raise serious questions about the security and protection of sensitive information, especially given the strategic importance of these facilities.

Despite the obvious risks to national security, the Israeli Ministry of Defense remains silent on this issue. Meanwhile, global satellite services continue to publish data, circumventing the restrictions set by the United States back in the last century. These rules, known as the Kyl-Bingaman Amendment (KBA), previously prohibited the publication of detailed satellite images of Israel and the occupied territories with a resolution above a certain level. However, with the abolition of the KBA in 2020, such restrictions ceased to apply, paving the way for the publication of increasingly clear images.

Today, any Internet user can explore the Dimona nuclear center, where the bulk of Israel's nuclear program is believed to be located. Detailed views of military bases, training grounds, and even areas of recent military operations in the Gaza Strip are also available. This poses a potential threat to the country's security, as such data can be used by Israel's opponents to plan attacks or analyze military infrastructure.

Experts note that technological progress and the commercialization of satellite imagery have made it impossible to fully control the dissemination of such information. Companies such as Google, Maxar Technologies, and Planet Labs regularly update their image databases, not always considering the geopolitical implications. In the case of Israel, this has led to the fact that information that was previously considered highly classified is now available to everyone.

The Israeli authorities have not yet taken any significant steps to address this issue. The lack of an official response is puzzling to security experts, who stress the need for dialogue with international companies and governments to minimize risks.

Meanwhile, the situation raises new questions for countries about the balance between freedom of information and national security. The public availability of data on secret facilities is just one example of how technology is changing the rules of the game in the modern world.

North Korea is building a new large warship: satellite imagery analysis

Satellite images of one of the shipyards in North Korea

Satellite images analyzed by the South Korean company SI Analytics nK Insight and published by NK News indicate significant developments at one of the shipyards in North Korea. The analysis shows that the country is building a new large military vessel equipped with advanced weapons systems. This discovery is causing serious concern in the region and beyond.

According to the analysis of satellite images, the new vessel is equipped with vertical launchers (VLS) for anti-aircraft, anti-ship and cruise missiles. The presence of such systems significantly enhances the ship's combat capabilities and allows it to perform a wide range of tasks, including defense against air threats and strikes against land and sea targets.

In addition, the ship has a dedicated area for the installation of forward artillery, which indicates its high combat readiness and ability to conduct intense combat operations. These characteristics go beyond the previously known naval assets of North Korea, which indicates significant progress in the development of the country's naval forces.

The construction of the new vessel is part of a broader strategy by North Korea to strengthen its military capabilities. In recent years, the country has been actively developing its nuclear and missile programs, as well as modernizing traditional types of armed forces. The new vessel will be an important element of this strategy, providing North Korea with additional opportunities to project power and protect its interests in the region.

The news about the construction of the new vessel has caused concern in the international community. South Korea, Japan and the United States have already expressed their concern and called for increased sanctions against North Korea. International experts also point out that the development of North Korea's naval forces could destabilize the situation in the region and lead to an escalation of tension.

The international community will have to take measures to curb North Korea's military ambitions. This may include increased sanctions, diplomatic pressure, and increased military cooperation between countries in the region. It is also important to continue monitoring the development of North Korea's naval forces through satellite imagery and other intelligence means.

Israel creates seven new military outposts along the border with Syria

Satellite image of the new Israeli Defense Forces outpost on Syria's Mount Hermon

Satellite images obtained in recent weeks confirm information about the construction of seven new military bases of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) along the demilitarized zone between Syria and Israel. These positions, stretching from Mount Hermon in the north to Tel Kudna in the south, indicate Israel's intention to prepare for a long-term presence in this strategically important area.

The new bases are located near the demarcation line established after the 1973 war, which separates the Israeli Golan Heights from Syrian territory. The region remains one of the most tense points in relations between Israel and Syria, especially given the activity of various armed groups, including Iranian-backed forces operating in the area.

The Israeli Armed Forces consider strengthening their position as a necessary measure to prevent potential threats from these groups. The new outposts will allow the IDF to more effectively control the territory, ensure the safety of civilians in the border areas and respond quickly to any provocations.

The construction of bases includes not only the installation of temporary fortifications, but also the creation of infrastructure for long-term use. This indicates that Israel is preparing for a prolonged period of military presence in the region. Such actions may be related to growing concerns about Iran's growing influence in Syria and a possible escalation of the conflict in the future.

Israel has repeatedly expressed its concern that Iranian forces or their allies, such as Hezbollah, could use Syrian territory to launch attacks on Israel. New bases serve as an additional barrier against such threats.

The increased Israeli military presence along the border with Syria has important implications for regional security. It may provoke retaliatory actions from Iran or its allies, which increases the likelihood of new clashes. At the same time, the presence of well-equipped bases allows Israel to better coordinate its actions and minimize the risk of surprise attacks.

Experts also note that the construction of new outposts demonstrates Israel's desire to maintain control over key territories, even if the situation in Syria changes. This is especially true in the context of uncertainty about the future of the Syrian conflict and the role of various external players in the region.

The creation of seven new IDF military bases along the border with Syria reflects the seriousness of the country's approach to security issues. These actions show that Israel is ready for a prolonged confrontation in a region where threats remain a constant factor. The new outposts not only strengthen Israel's defensive potential, but also serve as a signal to other participants in the regional conflict that the country intends to defend its interests at all costs.
