North Korea is developing the new Bulsae-5 system as an upgraded version of its 6xb anti-tank missile system

In November 2024, North Korea held the exhibition

"Development of National De-

fense-2024" in Pyongyang, where it presented its

latest military equipment.

The event featured solid-fuel interconti-

nental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) such as the

Hwasong-19 and Hwasong-18, hypersonic mis-

siles and various drones, including the Saetbyol-9,

which resembles the American MQ-9

Reaper.

Leader Kim Jong-un stressed the importance of

mass production of unmanned aerial vehicles,

citing their economic efficiency and strategic val-

ue.
