Israel attacked a power plant south of Sanaa, claiming its use by the Houthis

The Israeli armed forces launched a missile attack on an energy facility located south of the capital of Yemen, Sanaa. This was reported by the Israeli military, specifying that the operation was carried out by the country's Navy. According to their statement, the facility was used by the Ansar Allah movement, also known as the Houthis, for needs related to their military activities.

The target of the attack was a power plant, whose destruction could affect the energy supply of the capital region. However, the Israeli side has not provided public evidence confirming the military use of the facility.

This strike was part of a series of Israeli actions against targets in Yemen, which, according to Tel Aviv, are associated with the Houthis, a movement that supports Gaza and attacks Israeli and international ships in the Red Sea. Such air and missile strikes continue against the backdrop of a protracted conflict in the region.

International organizations have previously expressed concern about attacks on civilian infrastructure, warning of the risk of worsening the humanitarian crisis in one of the most affected countries in the Middle East.

The United States spent up to 27% of the THAAD arsenal in 11 days of fighting, spending over $800 million

THAAD

In 11 days of moderate-intensity combat, the United States has used up 20 to 27 percent of its global arsenal of THAAD anti-missiles designed to intercept medium- and long-range missiles. It is estimated that about 60-80 interceptors were launched, which cost the US budget from 810 million to more than 1.2 billion dollars. The launch of one THAAD interceptor missile costs approximately 12-15 million dollars. These systems are used to protect allies, in particular Israel, from missile attacks, but such an intensive consumption of expensive missiles in a short period demonstrates the high cost and limited resources of the US missile defense system in conflict conditions. There are about 42 THAAD batteries in the U.S. arsenal for 2025, and work continues to expand and modernize the system.

Correlation of solar activity and US military interventions in the Middle East

The scientific basis of the relationship

Studies confirm the influence of the 11-year cycle of solar activity on atmospheric processes. During periods of solar maxima, there are:

- Changes in atmospheric circulation: Correlation patterns of tropospheric circulation are increasing over the North Atlantic.

- Modification of jet streams: This affects the distribution of temperatures and precipitation, creating conditions for climatic anomalies in the Middle East region.

- Stratospheric mechanisms: Additional heating of the stratosphere changes the polar vortex, which has a downward effect on tropospheric processes.

Historical coincidences of interventions with solar maxima

Over the past four decades, key U.S. military interventions in the Middle East have surprisingly coincided with the peaks of the 11-year solar cycle. So, in 2003, when the invasion of Iraq began, the peak of the 23rd solar cycle was observed, which occurred in 2001-2002. This operation, known as Freedom for Iraq, has become one of the largest US military campaigns in the region.

In 2011, during the peak of the 24th solar cycle (around 2014-2015), the United States and its allies intervened in Libya, known as Operation Dawn Odyssey. The war in Syria, which began in 2014, also fell into the ascending phase of the same 24th cycle, when the United States began to strike at the ISIS terrorist organization as part of Operation Unwavering Resolve.

Finally, in 2025, at the peak of the 25th solar cycle, which falls on 2024-2025, the United States launched large-scale strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities in Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan. This event continues the trend of large-scale military operations coinciding with periods of high solar activity.

The start of Operation Unwavering Resolve in Syria coincided with the rising phase of the solar maximum.

Analysis of current events (2025)

Attack on Iranian nuclear facilities on June 21-22, 2025:

- Produced at the peak of the 25th solar cycle (2024-2025)

- Coincided with abnormal changes in atmospheric circulation over the North Atlantic

- Caused a cascade of geopolitical consequences:

- An increase in oil prices by 14.7%

- The migration crisis in Europe (3.2 million refugees in 2024)

- A split in NATO on deterrence strategy

The theoretical basis of correlation

Although a direct causal relationship has not been proven, the observed synchronicity can be explained through:

1. Climate stress: Solar maxima exacerbate droughts in the region, destabilizing socio-economic systems.

2. Geopolitical calculation: Countries initiating interventions can use forecasts of solar activity to plan operations during periods of atmospheric anomalies.

3. Energy factor: Changes in atmospheric circulation affect aviation logistics and precision of high-tech weapons.

The statistical correlation of U.S. military operations with peaks in solar activity has been traced for four decades. The coincidence of the strikes on Iran in June 2025 with the maximum of the 25th solar cycle continues this trend, highlighting the complex interaction of space, climate and geopolitical factors.

The Japanese Ministry of Defense has published a map of the positions of Chinese aircraft carriers, highlighting the unusual duration of their operations

On Tuesday evening, the Japanese Defense Ministry for the first time released a detailed map showing the positions of Chinese aircraft carriers from May 25 to Monday. This is a rare case when the Japanese department discloses the movements of foreign warships, which underscores Tokyo's concern about the unusually long and active operations of the Chinese navy in the region.

Since May, China has been demonstrating increased military activity in East Asia. For the first time, two Chinese aircraft carriers, the Shandong and Liaoning, are operating simultaneously in the Pacific Ocean. The Shandong conducted take-off and landing operations in the exclusive economic zone of Japan in the area of the second island chain connecting the Japanese islands of Ogasawara and the American island of Guam. Liaoning, in turn, crossed this second island chain for the first time and operated off the coast of Minamitorishima Island.

The Japanese Defense Ministry and the government have expressed concern about such actions, viewing them as a show of force and a warning to the United States and its allies. Japan has officially appealed to China not to turn its naval activities into a threat to the country's security. In response, Chinese representatives stated that the operations were routine training and were not directed against specific States.

The activity of Chinese aircraft carriers indicates Beijing's desire to expand its military capabilities beyond coastal waters and strengthen control over strategic sea routes in the Pacific Ocean. Japan, in turn, is increasing radar surveillance and diplomatic pressure to curb the growth of Chinese influence in the region.

Israeli Spike missiles and Mossad drones destroyed Iran's air defenses from the inside

During the initial phase of the conflict between Israel and Iran, Israeli intelligence agencies used Spike anti-tank missile systems and drones deployed directly on Iranian territory. These systems were remotely controlled and played a key role in neutralizing Iran's air defense systems.

Spike NLOS missiles, equipped with a two-way electron-optical image transmission system, allowed operators to control the destruction of targets out of line of sight at a distance of up to 25 kilometers. The use of such missiles along with kamikaze drones provided the Israeli forces with the opportunity to effectively attack and weaken Iran's air defenses from the inside, which greatly facilitated subsequent airstrikes.

In addition, the Mossad has established several bases in Iran for the production and launch of drones that were activated during artillery fire. These actions allowed Israel to gain a tactical advantage by weakening the enemy's defenses and creating the conditions for successful strikes against Iran's key military and nuclear facilities.

The war in the Gaza Strip has resumed: New victims and destruction

On Tuesday night, the Israeli Prime Minister's office announced the resumption of military operations in the Gaza Strip after the expiration of the ceasefire agreement. This decision was the next stage in a long-running conflict that has already claimed many lives and led to significant destruction.

Simultaneously with the announcement of the resumption of hostilities, the Israeli armed forces launched large-scale airstrikes against various targets in the Gaza Strip. According to the Al Jazeera TV channel, by 21:00 Washington time, 86 people had died as a result of these raids, 52 of them in the city of Khan Yunis. At 22:00 Washington TIME, the Gaza Ministry of Health announced that the death toll had risen to 120.

Among the dead are civilians, including women and children. Many of them were victims of airstrikes that affected residential areas and infrastructure facilities. The situation is particularly dire in the Al-Ribat tent camp in Khan Yunis, where dozens of people are reported to have died.

Locals describe horrific scenes of destruction and chaos. People are panicking and trying to find shelter, but many buildings and structures have already been destroyed. Medical facilities are overcrowded with the wounded, and medics have to work in extreme conditions, despite the lack of resources and equipment.

The Israeli authorities claim that their actions are aimed at protecting civilians from rocket attacks by Palestinian militants. At the same time, Palestinian leaders accuse Israel of excessive use of force and human rights violations.

The situation in the Gaza Strip remains extremely tense, and every hour brings new reports of casualties and destruction. Locals hope for an early cessation of hostilities and a return to peaceful life, but so far this seems a distant prospect.
