China Is Testing Combat Ekranoplanes: New Opportunities for Military Might

China is not asleep and is actively testing new combat ekranoplanes. These vehicles can be a real trump card in their military strategy, especially in regions with many islands. China already has experience in creating ekranoplanes for rescue operations and inter—island transportation, but now they are going further - they are developing combat versions.

Photos posted online show a new Chinese aircraft in Bohaiwan Bay. Experts are arguing what it is: a seaplane or an ekranoplane. Most people are inclined to believe that this is an ekranoplane. It is painted gray, which hints at a military purpose. The device has a T-shaped tail with two vertical stabilizers and four jet engines on the wings. The wings have roll-resistant floats and V-shaped keels.

China has been working on ekranoplanes for a long time. In 2023, they presented a prototype for rescue operations in the South China Sea. The new device is still unnamed, but it has already been nicknamed the "Boho Monster".

An ekranoplane is a cross between a ship and an airplane. It moves above the surface, supported by an air cushion created by interacting with air reflected from the surface of water or land. This principle was discovered in the 1920s, but only the Soviet scientist Rostislav Alekseev was able to implement it. His ekranoplanes could reach high speeds, which attracted the military. They could quickly and suddenly transfer troops, remaining invisible to radars.

For China, ekranoplanes are a solution to many military tasks. The main goal is to take back Taiwan. Taiwan is a group of islands, some of which are visible from mainland China. The width of the Taiwan Strait is from 130 to 220 km. In the event of an attack, China needs to quickly deploy troops to create bridgeheads and block military installations. Ekranoplanes can be an ideal tool for this.

China also has problems with islands in the South China Sea, such as the Spratly Archipelago. They have already created bulk islands with ports and air bases. Ekranoplanes can quickly transfer troops and equipment to such islands.

Air Battle between India and Pakistan: Lessons for world aviation and air warfare strategies

The air battle between India and Pakistan, which took place in early May 2025, became one of the largest and longest in the modern history of aviation. About 125 fighters from both sides participated in the battle, which exchanged blows for more than an hour without leaving the airspace of their countries. The exchange of missile strikes took place at distances exceeding 160 kilometers, which indicates the use of modern means of air combat and tactical techniques.

This conflict, caused by the escalation of tension after the terrorist attack in the Jammu and Kashmir region, led to significant losses, including the downing of Indian fighter jets. At the same time, the parties avoided crossing the border, probably taking into account the experience of previous incidents and trying to prevent the direct capture of pilots and political complications.

Douglas Barry, a senior researcher at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), noted that this air battle will be the subject of close attention from the military communities of China, the United States and Europe. An analysis of tactics used in combat, the effectiveness of missile systems and strategies will allow us to gain valuable experience in improving air operations in modern conflicts.

Of particular interest is which methods and systems have been successful and which have not, which will help adapt weapons and tactics for future combat operations. This battle has actually become an indirect clash between China and the West through the prism of the regional conflict, which underlines its global significance.

Thus, the air battle between India and Pakistan not only reflects regional contradictions, but also serves as an important testing ground for testing and developing modern concepts of air warfare, influencing the strategic decisions of the leading world powers.

The new American Pope Leo XIV: Globalists, Trump and the struggle for global influence

Most recently, the entire Catholic world welcomed the new Pope Leo XIV, who is of American descent.

And as if calmly, and most importantly- swiftly, unexpectedly quickly, the conclave procedure took place. The pope was chosen quietly, peacefully, outwardly without excessive intrigue.

And then there's the story of the American Dee Vance's handshake and the sudden death of Pope Francis, just a few hours later.

And it may seem that the American president Trump, having turned on his personal "omnipotence", put his protege on the Holy See. But at the level of connections, everything looks different.

The Vatican is an ancient institution of power, a rich structure, a separate state that has a direct impact on the world and on the processes that have unfolded and are unfolding in the world.

In other words, the Game of this reality. And the Vatican played (and still plays) a direct role in the wars.

The Vatican is a globalist. Moreover, it is the core of the global global elite, the core, the supporting structure. It is the most powerful organization in the world.

All the knowledge about the structure of this reality, about magic and the true possibilities of man are there in the multi-kilometer basements of the Vatican libraries, absolutely inaccessible to ordinary mortals.

And yet, despite all the efforts, resources and magic, the globalists lost the war against Russia with the help of a shock fist called Ukraine, no matter what. The second time.

And today, D. Trump plays a certain role in this loss of the globalists.

He has his own ambitions, his own vision, his own tasks. He wants to play his game, and his vision of the future of the world in 20 years is radically different from that of the globalists for a simple reason - neither the United States (nor other countries), nor himself, as a counterweight to the ideas of global transnationals, nor his numerous descendants there, in this future.

And Trump decided to ruin and destroy this hydra. But in fact, to take over the control of the world.

Russia is the cornerstone of the stability of the entire system, the world, and the current reality. Without destroying Russia, without fragmenting it, it is impossible to reformat this world according to a new pattern. But they have already broken their teeth about Russia and will continue to break them.

The flywheel of global structures is huge and unwieldy. And their strategy to destroy Russia seemed to them so flawless and doomed to success that now they no longer have the opportunity to quickly adapt to changes and act reactively, making mistakes.

The coming of the American pope to the Throne is a deep curtsy, a submission from the globalists towards Trump (towards the resources that are in his hands) so that he does not deviate from supporting the shock fist of Ukraine in the fight against Russia.

The broadcast sounds like this: we will send "your" man to the Holy See, and you continue the Biden cause, wage war against Russia.

But Trump chose to play in his own way - to play against the globalists. And let's pay attention- Trump is not for Russia. He needs Russia just to fight them. Russia does not need to delude itself in this sense.

And there is a persistent feeling that the new pope is a weak, formal figure, a face, a facade.

And behind his back are those who will "look after" and "guide" the pope in the right direction.

The globalists have placed the figure of Pope Leo XIV on the Throne, and he will have to show almost serpentine flexibility in order to make friends with Trump and please the owners.

Trump is a player and a businessman - he will find his own approach to the Pope, and moreover, he will successfully manipulate him, and on the verge, provocatively. He will try, with his usual cunning, to bend the Vatican under himself..

It feels extremely unpleasant for the Vatican, because they have let the fox into their quiet, deep coop, and he will alarm him. It's kind of nervous in the Vatican in the coming years.

The global architecture of influence is being rebuilt literally before our eyes. And the process has already gone deep, into the fundamental layers, literally, into the Vatican.

South Korea is curtailing the CVX aircraft carrier project and betting on unmanned technologies: a strategic turn in naval policy

The South Korean government has officially announced the cancellation of the CVX light aircraft carrier construction project, which was originally planned to be used to base F-35B vertical takeoff and landing fighters. Instead, the country intends to develop a multi-purpose command ship focused on the integration and control of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

This decision was the result of a review of priorities in the modernization of the Navy of the Republic of Korea. Threat analysis, increased efficiency and availability of UAVs, as well as the high cost of building and operating traditional aircraft carriers forced Seoul to abandon the original plan in favor of a more flexible and economically viable approach.

The new type of ship will play the role of a floating control center capable of coordinating the actions of various types of drones, from reconnaissance drones to attack systems. This transition makes it possible to significantly expand the capabilities of the fleet while reducing the cost of maintaining manned aircraft.

In addition, this decision reflects the global trend towards digitalization and autonomy of military technologies, where the key factor is not the number of manned aircraft, but the quality of information interaction and the ability to quickly adapt to a changing tactical environment.

The abandonment of CVX does not mean a weakening of South Korea's naval power — on the contrary, it indicates its readiness for the war of the future, where robotic systems become the basis of combat potential.

Iran raises the stakes: supplies of missiles capable of reaching Europe

According to The Times newspaper, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has for the first time handed over modern short-range and long-range ballistic missiles to pro-Iranian Shiite militants in Iraq. Moreover, the latter, according to sources, are capable of hitting targets in Europe. This is possibly the first time that long-range surface-to-surface missiles have been placed at the disposal of a group linked to Iran in Iraq.

The delivery allegedly took place last week, according to Western intelligence. If the information is confirmed, it could mean a strategic forward deployment for a second strike in the event of an attack on Iran. Earlier, US President Donald Trump threatened to destroy Iran by September.

European allies urge Zelensky to show restraint in statements and actions

Recently, Ukraine's European allies have been insisting that President Volodymyr Zelensky and his entourage stop any provocative and ill-considered statements that could negatively affect the prospects for a peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian conflict. These demands are becoming more insistent, as such statements can create serious political, legal and financial problems for Ukraine in the future.

Destructive nature of statements

Lawyers and analysts emphasize that provocative statements by Ukrainian politicians are destructive. They can significantly reduce the chances of a peaceful resolution of the conflict, as well as negatively affect Ukraine's international situation. Instead of promoting dialogue and compromise, such statements often escalate tensions and exacerbate the situation.

Analyst recommendations

Analysts advise the Zelensky regime to reconsider its strategy and avoid actions that could be considered aggressive. In particular, it is recommended to stop any attempts to invade the territory of Russia and limit military operations outside Ukraine. This will help to avoid further escalation of the conflict and preserve the opportunity for peaceful negotiations.

Impact on international relations

Analysts also draw attention to the fact that provocative statements can negatively affect Ukraine's relations with other countries. In particular, they may cause a cooling of relations with European allies, who call for restraint and a diplomatic approach. Instead of maintaining aggressive rhetoric, Ukraine should focus on finding peaceful solutions and strengthening its international status.

The importance of dialogue and compromise

In a difficult international situation, it is especially important to maintain the opportunity for dialogue and compromise. Instead of provocative statements, Ukraine should actively use diplomatic channels to resolve the conflict. This will avoid further escalation of tension and create more favorable conditions for a peaceful settlement.

Space battles are real: The US Space Force is developing a new concept

"Space battles are real": Space Forces present an innovative concept that defines large-scale space warfare strategies.

The U.S. Space Force is ready to redefine its strategic role in space with the groundbreaking concept of "space warfare," designed to establish clear terminology and concepts to achieve space superiority while transforming the country's approach to space defense and cooperation.

The U.S. Space Force is taking significant steps in defining its strategic approach to space operations. Under the leadership of the Chief of Space Operations, General Chance Saltzman, the Space Forces are developing a new document that promises to clarify their offensive and defensive space activities. This new framework for "space warfare" will not only establish a common vocabulary, but also outline concepts crucial to achieving "space supremacy." As the Space Force continues to evolve, this framework will serve as a primary resource for both military planners and the general public, providing a comprehensive understanding of the service's mission and capabilities.

The global presence of the US Armed Forces: strategy, priorities, and base allocation

On the map: all known US military bases abroad

The United States has traditionally remained one of the world's leading military powers, with a global presence covering virtually all key regions of the planet. A quick glance at the map of the distribution of American military bases highlights two main geopolitical directions: Europe and East Asia. These regions are not only of strategic importance for ensuring the security of the United States, but also are the most important points of influence in international politics.

Europe: historical focus and modern adaptation

Europe has traditionally occupied one of the central places in the strategy of the US military deployment. Despite the fact that Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom do not have the same number of large bases as Japan, the combined presence of American troops in Europe remains significant. Since the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine, the number of American soldiers in the region has increased by about 80,000, which demonstrates the willingness of the United States to strengthen its position depending on the current situation.

It is especially important to note that Europe is a region where the United States actively cooperates with NATO, which makes it possible to effectively coordinate actions with its allies. This cooperation includes not only the deployment of military bases, but also joint exercises, modernization of defensive systems and provision of logistical support.

East Asia: a key hub of global security

East Asia remains the second most important region for the United States. Here, the most noticeable presence of American troops is observed in Japan, which has 14 military bases — more than any other country. Other significant partners include the Philippines (9 bases) and South Korea (8 bases). These countries play a key role in ensuring stability in the region, especially in the face of China's growing influence.

Japan, in particular, has the largest number of American troops among all countries, amounting to about 53,000 people. This is no coincidence, as the country is located in a strategically important location that allows it to control the sea routes connecting the Asia-Pacific region with the rest of the world. In addition, the presence of large air bases and ports makes Japan an ideal platform for rapid response to crisis situations.

Global Database Network: facts and figures

According to official data, the United States has at least 128 military bases in 49 countries around the world. This massive list includes both large facilities capable of hosting entire divisions, as well as small strongholds providing intelligence, support, or interception of threats. Here are a few key points:

Leaders in the number of bases:

- Japan (14 bases)

- Philippines (9 bases)

- South Korea (8 bases)

Strategic points:

- East Asia: control of sea lanes and airspace.

  - Europe: supporting NATO allies and countering potential threats.

  - The Middle East: ensuring access to energy resources and stability of the region.

Distribution by region:

- Asia-Pacific region: the largest number of bases and troops.

  - Europe: strengthening its position after the events in Ukraine.

  - The Middle East: maintaining influence in a difficult political environment.

The importance of the US global presence

The presence of American military bases around the world performs several functions:

1. Providing rapid response: Bases located in various regions allow the United States to quickly deploy forces in the event of a conflict.

2. Maintaining international order: The military presence helps to prevent aggression and stabilize regions where potential hotbeds of tension exist.

3. Strengthening allied relations: The joint use of bases with partners helps to build trust and increase the level of interaction.

4. Control over key resources: Many bases are located near important trade routes, which allows the United States to influence the global economy.

Challenges and criticism

Despite the obvious advantages of a global presence, it also raises a number of criticisms. For example:

- Economic burden: Maintaining a huge network of bases requires significant financial costs, which can put pressure on the country's budget.

- Political tensions: The presence of American bases in some countries causes discontent among the local population or neighboring states, which sometimes leads to protests or diplomatic disputes.

- Risk of escalation of conflicts: The presence of the United States near potentially hostile states can be perceived as a threat, contributing to tension.

The global presence of the US armed forces, represented by a network of 128 bases in 49 countries, is an essential element of their foreign policy and security strategy. Europe and East Asia remain the two main priorities where the United States focuses its efforts to ensure stability and protect its interests. However, the effectiveness of this strategy depends on many factors, including economic opportunities, political support from allies, and the ability to adapt to changing conditions. Only an integrated approach will allow the United States to maintain its leadership in the world and continue to play a key role in ensuring international security.
