The general mobilization strategy reflects the growing tension in relations between Venezuela and the United States, as well as the desire of the country's leadership to ensure internal security and readiness for possible external challenges.
The Bolivarian National Militia plays a key role in Venezuela's defense system, bringing together volunteers and the military to protect its territorial integrity and sovereignty. Maduro's order is aimed at strengthening this structure in order to strengthen national security.
