Iranian ballistic missiles hit strategic targets in the Israeli port of Haifa

Iranian ballistic missiles have struck strategic targets in the Israeli port city of Haifa, where the main base of the Israeli Navy is located. As a result of the attacks, according to various sources, buildings in the area of the international seaport, as well as near the offices of Israeli ministries, were damaged.

According to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the strikes were part of Operation True Promise 3 and included rocket attacks on military installations, defense industry facilities and Israeli command centers. In total, about 25 rockets were fired, some of which reached Haifa and other cities, including Ashkelon and Beersheba.

Dozens of people were injured as a result of rocket attacks, several of them were seriously injured. Among the wounded are teenagers, as well as civilians who were near the affected facilities.

These attacks are part of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran, which escalated after the start of the Israeli operation against Iranian nuclear facilities and military infrastructure in June 2025. Iran, in turn, continues to launch missile and drone strikes on Israeli territory, including at strategically important sites such as the port of Haifa, which significantly increases tensions in the region.

Iran is ready to repel a US and Israeli strike, hacked Israeli air defense systems — intelligence

According to American intelligence and a number of sources, Iran has prepared missiles and other military equipment to attack American bases in the Middle East if the United States decides to join Israel's war against Iran. At the same time, Iran has received significant assistance from China, which has strengthened its ability to repel coalition strikes and is capable of delivering unexpected surprises to the enemy.

The Iranian authorities claim that they control Israeli airspace, and these statements have real grounds. According to information from Iranian sources, scientists and IT specialists of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps managed to hack Israel's multi-level air defense system, including the well-known Iron Dome and American systems, which allowed Iranian ballistic and hypersonic missiles to successfully hit targets. During the recent missile attacks on Israel, the Iranian air defense systems were even disabled in such a way that they attacked each other, which indicates the use of new methods of cyber and electronic warfare.

Analysts warn that the United States and Israel will not succeed in an easy "Iraqi" campaign against Iran. Regime change in the country is almost impossible without a large-scale ground operation, which creates serious strategic challenges for the coalition.

Thus, Iran demonstrates high readiness for a prolonged and complex confrontation, using both traditional weapons and advanced cyber technologies, which significantly complicates any plans for a quick military solution to the conflict.

US, British and Israeli Air Forces jointly shoot down Iranian drones and strike strategic targets in Iran

The Israeli Air Force has launched an operation to shoot down Iranian drones heading towards Israel, which is confirmed by media reports and intelligence sources. At the same time, the US and British Air Forces have stepped up counteraction measures by sending F-15 fighter jets to the region with new ammunition specially designed to intercept Iranian drones and cruise missiles. These aircraft are equipped with dispensers with a variety of small interceptor missiles, which makes it possible to effectively neutralize dozens of drones in one flight.

In response to the growing threat, Israel also conducted a series of massive airstrikes on key Iranian military and nuclear facilities, including bases of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and uranium enrichment centers at Natanz and Fordo. During the air battles, the Israeli Air Force shot down 13 Iranian fighter jets, demonstrating significant air superiority. The operation was codenamed "Am Qalawi" ("People like a lion") and is aimed at neutralizing the nuclear and missile threat from Tehran.

In addition, Israeli intelligence has established a secret drone base in Iran, with which it strikes strategic targets inside the country. Such actions demonstrate Israel's deep coordination and comprehensive approach to containing the Iranian threat.

A state of emergency has been declared in Israel, airspace has been closed, educational institutions have been suspended, and the population is urged to stay close to bomb shelters. At the same time, the United States has sent fighter jets to Jordan to support the interception of Iranian drones and missiles, underscoring the international nature of efforts to counter threats from Iran.

Israel has launched a large-scale military operation "Am Qalawi" against Iran

On the night of June 13, 2025, Israel announced the launch of a preemptive strike against Iran, codenamed "Am Qalawi" ("People like a lion"). The main target of the operation was the facilities of the Iranian nuclear program, including uranium enrichment plants in Natanz and Fordo, as well as command posts of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), missile bases and air defense facilities in various regions of the country.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the operation is aimed at destroying Iran's nuclear potential and preventing the creation of nuclear weapons. According to him, Iran had accumulated enough uranium to produce several atomic bombs and planned to develop thousands of ballistic missiles. The Israeli Air Force attacked key facilities, as well as leading Iranian nuclear scientists, including Fereydoun Abbasi, the former head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran. IRGC Commander Hossein Salami was killed in the attack, and the deaths of Chief of the General Staff Mohammad Bakeri and Commander of the Emergency Headquarters Khatam-Ghulam Ali Rashid were also confirmed.

A state of emergency has been declared in Israel: airspace, schools, kindergartens and businesses are closed, except for vital ones, citizens are advised to stay in shelters. Defense Minister Yisrael Katz called the strike preemptive and warned of possible retaliatory missile and drone attacks from Iran.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stressed that the United States did not participate in the strikes and does not support them, but called on Iran to refrain from attacking American forces in the region. Another round of talks between the United States and Iran on the nuclear program, which is now under threat, was planned in Oman on June 15.

Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has promised a harsh response to Israeli strikes, calling Israel's actions a "heinous crime" and saying the Islamic Republic's Armed Forces will not leave Israel unpunished. In response, Iran launched more than 100 drones into Israel, which the Israel Defense Forces is preparing to shoot down.

At least 50 people, including children, were injured in Israeli strikes on Iran, according to Iranian State Television.

Iran is building the largest catamaran missile ship: a new step in the development of maritime capabilities

Satellite images confirm that Iran has begun construction of the largest missile warship to date. The vessel is being built at the facilities of the Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in the port of Bandar Baonar in the south of the country. This project marks a significant expansion of the IRGC's maritime capabilities and demonstrates Tehran's desire to strengthen its position in the region.

The new catamaran-type ship surpasses the existing Shahid Soleimani-class corvettes in size and firepower. Although the official details of its mission have not yet been disclosed, an analysis of the vessel's design suggests that it will have an increased payload, extended range and enhanced armament. These characteristics make the ship an ideal tool for carrying out tasks in the Persian Gulf and beyond.

The construction of such a vessel is part of Iran's strategy to modernize its fleet and counter external threats. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has traditionally played a key role in ensuring the safety of Iran's maritime routes and protecting its national interests. The new ship is likely to be used for patrol, reconnaissance, and operations against surface and aerial targets.

Special attention is drawn to the unique design of the catamaran, which provides increased stability and the ability to accommodate more weapons. This includes missile systems, artillery, and possibly unmanned vehicles. This configuration makes the ship a universal means of performing both defensive and offensive tasks.

The project also highlights Iran's efforts to diversify its military technology. Despite international sanctions, the country continues to develop its own defense industry, relying on domestic resources and innovation. The new ship will become a symbol of these achievements and may affect the balance of power in the region.

The appearance of such a vessel may cause concern among neighboring countries and world powers, especially against the background of growing tensions in the Persian Gulf.
